Spent the day alone again naturally, it’s becoming a habit. I left the house to fetch packages from the post office and returned soon after and managed to forget to buy milk and bread [as you do]. The rest of the day was spent faffing around with an old sampler. I still can’t seem to get the hang of it. Finally I abandoned the technology in search of a proper acoustic troubadour’s anthem that despite a promising start remains unfound. My muse was not amused. Sometimes it makes you wonder; why oh why Fisher indeed?

On a lighter brighter note, Lazy Bohemians, the new single download is all set to go and will be available from 17th March. There are loads of sites you can get it from [including iTunes and Amazon]. It comes complete with new artwork and bonus tracks as mentioned here in past dispatches. I suppose I should at this point tell you how marvellous it is [as I’m sure I have done before] but in truth I can’t be bothered, sorry about that, it’s been one of those days. Still if you buy your music over the internet you could do a lot worse, of that I’m sure.

I will be sending out a group email update to this effect in the next few days. It will be positive and uplifting like the Fantastic Futures Corporation of Great Britain. I just listened to Eels Daisies of the Galaxy…I love it. What can I say…Oh how great thou art Mr Everett, how great thou art! I must get tickets for the forthcoming Manchester show. I’m also reading his book Things the Grandchildren Should Know and it’s totally brilliant, sad, touching, heartbreaking, life affirming…that kind of thing, VP x
